In the early morning of 25th of April,

As the ANZAC’s  of old gathered at those distant shores,

We gather now in remembrance of all,

All we lost, all we gained and all they gave

Inception

ANZAC day was originally a commemoration of the Landing of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps at ANZAC Cove, Gallipoli on the 25th April 1915.

During WW1

During World War 1 the day evolved into commemoration of the fallen, not only for those lost at Gallipoli but also those lost in subsequent battles.

Post WW1

After the war the day has evolved into not only commemoration of the fallen but celebration of past and present members of the Defence Force.

Date, Time & Location

The Service is held on the 25th of April, at 5:25am in the back car park of Club Pine Rivers (1/11 Sparks Rd, Bray Park, QLD 4500).
