Middle Eastern Front
The Middle East is often forgotten when World War 1 is discussed. Appart from Gallipoli & Beersheba Australians often do not know much about the rest of the conflict. The Australians during the War often found thier roles overshadowed by others. One Key example is T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) whos legend has spread far &wide. This legend often exaggerated & conveniently leaving out the Australian contribution
